About Us
When an abused child uses their voice to reach out for help or comes to our attention, they deserve and require the best response that we can give them. These cases require that multiple professionals with specific duties be involved. While well intended, children and their non-offending family members can be exposed to complicated, unfamiliar systems.
The Child Advocacy Center of Warren County is a winning solution for abused children and their non-offending family members, providing comprehensive, coordinated services in one community-based facility. Necessary specialized medical, emotional, legal, investigative and victim advocacy services exist in one child-friendly location, ensuring that children are not further victimized by the systems intended to protect them. Coordination of services is intended to:
- Reduce trauma to child victims
- Reduce duplicative interviews
- Increase communication between agencies
- Strengthen cases
- Provide a link to services
